How I Met Your Mother September 29th The Best Burger in New York

So this episode totally sucked. I am usually a big HIMYM fan but this episode totally xcv missed the mark. I really don’t think there was one laugh out loud funny part in it. Basically it is about how Marshall can’t get a job even though Barney offers to get him one at Goliath Bank (member FDIC). Marshall refuses and you see him talking to himself in the mirror before going on interviews. The talking goes form very encouraging to him saying to himself just get through this and you can come back home to your underpants. So the gang is hanging out at the bar where they decide to eat burgers. Marshall starts going on and on about the best burger ever. So they go on a quest to find it. Regis Philbin makes a cameo appearance. He is searching for the same burger and gives his cell phone number to Barney in case they ever find it (after scaring the crap out of everyone). So robin thinks she knows the place form the description of the green door and red sign. Barney texts Regis on their way. It is not the place but the waitress says they are modeled after another burger joint. So they leave to go there. Regis calls Barney mad because he is not at the first place. So Barneys tells him they left, prompting Regis to crush the trash can. In the cab Barney keeps going on and on about Goliath Bank. Lily tells him being a banker is lame.

On their way to the second place Marshall tells the cab drover to stop and gets out screaming this is it. Goes around the corner and sees a Goliath national bank ATM. Barney starts in about and Lily goes off on him about what a devil this bank is. Barney has enough and Marshall tells Lily the reason Barney was talking Goliath Bank up is that he got a job there. Then goes into this big montage about how when he first came to New York and how he is growing up and finding the burger was the last vestige of who he was. Anyway a guy who is handing out leaflets comes around the corner and he says the burger joint moved. The end of the show is them all enjoying the burger with Regis Philbin.
